All students start the day with their clip on the “Ready to Learn”. Throughout the day the students will clip or clip down depending on their behavior choices. When a student is showing above the line behavior, they will have the opportunity to clip up the chart to Showing PRIDE, Role Model or Outstanding. The students will clip up one level at a time. When a student chooses not to follow the class rules (showing below the line behavior), they will clip down the chart to Thinking About It, Reflecting or Contact Home. Depending on the severity of the behavior that will determine which level the students will clip down to and the consequence that will be given.
If your child ended his/her day on Thinking About It, Reflecting or Contact Home there will be a number next to their behavior for the day to let you know what classroom rule they struggled with that day. Please check your childs monthly calendar each night to see what levle of behavior they are on each day. Parents/Guardians will receive a daily behavior report. The rules are printed at the bottom of each calendar for your reference. Please check behavior calendars EACH night and INITIAL!!Behavior calendars will be inside the Home Communication binder. I appreciate your support!

Classroom Rules
These rules were discussed and developed by the students. They are rules the students felt were important to have in the classroom in order to have a safe and effective learning environment. They are posted in areas of the room and we review them often throughout the school year.
We listen when others are talking. We raise our hands when we have something to say.
We show respect for ourselves, our teachers, our classmates and our belongings.
We have positive attitudes.
We keep hands, objects and unkind words to ourselves.
We make smart choices that demonstrate good character.
